How to Install Nordic nRF Connect SDK (NCS SDK) for Bluetooth and Thread application

The Nordic nRF Connect SDK is a software development kit for applications for the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52 (Ex. nRF52840, nRF52833, nRF52832, nRF52810), nRF5340 and nRF9160 Series bluetooth le and mesh ble wireless devices. It supports linux, macOS, and Microsoft Windows.

For installing the Nordic bluetooth low energy nRF Connect SDK,

1) please install the Nordic “nRF Connect For Desktop”.

2) Open the “Toolchain Manager” from the  “nRF Connect For Desktop”

3) Install the SDK version you need in the “Toolchain Manager”

4) The installed SDK directory can be set in the SETTING menu :
